2.    Thrombinase, a blood clot dissolving enzyme from the mosquito larvicidal B. sphaericus (VCRC B42).

3.    L-DOPA, a drug for Parkinson’s disease from the mosquito larvicidal mutant of B. thuringiensis var. israelensis (VCRC B17).

A metabolite, effective against multi drug resistant microbes from a mosquito pupicidal bacterium, B. amyloliquefaciens (VCRC B483).

 

v. By-products of commercial value

1.    Dehairing enzyme from the mosquito larvicidal agent, B. thuringiensis var. israelensis (VCRC B17).
