| 2. Educational Qualifications:
| Master’s degree in Zoology/Entomology/Life Sciences/ Biotechnology /
Microbiology with atleast two years of research experience in relevant field.
| 3. Desirable Qualification:
| 1. Hands on experience in molecular biological techniques applicable to
isolation and characterization of biological molecules.
2. Candidates who have been declared successful at NET/GATE.
3. Qualified in the Entrance examination Conducted by Pondicherry
university 2011-12 for Ph.D Admission.

4. Nature of research:
| To conduct research in the field of characterization of polypeptide(s) in
mosquitoes causing resistance against bio-pesticides.

Fellowship amount:
| Rs.14,000/=-p.m. (Consolidated) throughout the project period + HRA
admissible as per existing DST Guidelines.

6. Age limit:
| Below 35 years and relaxable for SC/ST and OBC Candidates, as per
Govt. of India rules in force.
